I’m always interested on what people leave behind, I have recently moved and while packing I decided to just throw out found objects, to purge, the great flush! And as soon as I found myself in my new place, clean and empty, I started it up again, looking and deciding if they are worthy to be photographed.
One of the main reasons why I’m attracted to our waste or lost items is because of the stories that goes along with these items, and how these items could give insight to the type of person who may have had at one time these items in their possession. I ask myself while hovering over a found item, how did it get there? and what was that person doing before he or she lost it? All these questions without answers, orphaned belongings, some intended to be lost, while others forgotten.
This is a story of our trash and where it has been found, it’s up to you to imagine the story that follows each item.
